Richard Gresham

Mr. Gresham has mentored since 2011 when his daughter became interested in Apple Pi. Seeing Apple Pi as an opportunity for positive impact of future engineers and scientist’s inspired him to contribute to team 2067. He shares many of his fellow mentor’s beliefs in STEM and is encouraged by the students, their commitment and their attitude to the team and its goals.
He is a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Intuitive Surgical where he designs instruments for the da Vinci Surgical Robot. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Fairfield University and enjoys sailing and astronomy.
